Eddy Current Suppression Ring formed in the back room of a vinyl pressing plant in Highett, and the circumstances of that origin tell you everything you need to know. Since 2003, the Melbourne four-piece have built one of the most devoted cult followings in Australian music on a raw, high-voltage sound that draws from garage rock, post-punk and proto-punk without ever softening at the edges.
