Jet Black Cat Music, Handsome Tours and The Princess Theatre are excited to announce HOT DREAMS - a brand new, multi-stage, one-day festival taking place at The Princess in Meanjin/Brisbane from 2pm on Saturday 11 June.

The inaugural festival, from the team behind beloved Nine Lives Festival, will fire up Brisbane’s music & cultural scene this winter with an eclectic line-up of homegrown heroes and renowned internationals - including Lucy Dacus (USA), Cate Le Bon (GB), Andy Shauf (CA), Glass Beams, Pinch Points, Moktar and more.

American indie-pop songwriter Lucy Dacus will showcase songs from her latest album, Home Video, bringing her buttery vocals and squalls of electric guitar to centre stage. Welsh-born, California-dwelling singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Cate Le Bon, will hit Australia's shores fresh from releasing her hugely acclaimed sixth album, Pompeii. From across the seas, Toronto songwriter and storyteller Andy Shauf will perform songs from his widely lauded LP Wilds.

Joining the international cohort from Melbourne/Naarm is the masked trio Glass Beams, bringing their immersive live set of psychedelia, while post-punk outfit Pinch Points will perform songs from their latest release PROCESS. Meanjin/Brisbane 'desperate rock’ four-piece Girl And Girl will hit the stage, plus ‘dehydrated disco’ outfit Scraps will showcase their romantic breed of dazed electronica.

To keep the party pumping, the night will be laced with DJ sets in the outdoor Clarence Courtyard from Melbourne artists Moktar and Andras, and local acts Shandy and Scalymoth.

All backdropped by the other-worldly beauty of the heritage-listed, recently reborn Princess Theatre.

Dust off your dancing shoes and don your fave winter coat, tickets are on sale now.
