Come as you are and go as you please - The Princess Theatre is swinging open its doors and inviting everyone to celebrate with an official launch party.

Open Housewarming will bring the community together on Sat 2 & Sun 3 Oct to celebrate the reopening of Brisbane’s most-loved heritage building, The Princess Theatre.

Guests will be treated to a smorgasbord of incredible local talent, taking over the space for two days of music, art, booze, bangers, and everything in between.

Tickets are $10 per person at the door on the day.

As the first official event since The Princess was reclaimed for Brisbane's vibrant arts sector and faithfully restored, Open Housewarming signals the start of something special - it gives the community an opportunity to commemorate the building's rich cultural history while providing a taste of what can be expected from The Princess’ next chapter.

Tickets are first in best dressed and subject to availability on the day.

Due to the current travel restrictions and border closures across the country, we have chosen to reframe The Princess launch to create a more inclusive and safe event for our local artists and neighbouring community. The event will now include an all-Queensland line-up of local talent and our doors will be an ‘Open House’ to everyone in the community to come in and explore.
OPEN SEASON IS SUPPORTED THROUGH TOURISM AND EVENTS QUEENSLAND, THE QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT THROUGH ARTS QUEENSLAND, AND BOTH THE LIVE MUSIC AUSTRALIA FUND AND THE RESTART INVESTMENT TO SUSTAIN AND EXPAND (RISE) – INITIATIVES OF THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT.
