Stage Door Sessions is your backstage pass to the inside of this intimate music experience with Magandjin/Brisbane's talented artists. Set in the cozy Greenroom at The Princess Theatre, it’s a space where raw talent meets real connection. Whether it’s a new spin on a favourite song or an acoustic performance, we’re all about creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where artists and fans can connect on a deeper level.

This edition of Stage Door Sessions brings together two of Brisbane's freshest indie and alternative talents - Vinted Vineer & Double Date.

Vinted Vineer

Vinted Vineer open the first Stage Door Sessions of the year, bringing a rare stripped back set into an intimate room built for listening. Off the back of two recent singles and a strong close to the year, the band pull everything back. This performance steps away from the layered productions and volume VV are known for, offering reimagined versions, quiet intensity, and a glimpse into how songs first take shape. The night also hints at what the band has been working on behind the scenes, offering an early sense of what the year ahead holds.

Double Date

Rock/jazz/indie darlings double date are infamous within Meanjin's underground scene for their magnetic and high-energy live performances. With a burgeoning cult-following, double date are a non-negotiable for fans of contemporary rock that thinks outside the box.
