Emerging NYC rapper-producer xaviersobased makes his Australian debut with his Riverside Tour in June! Known for his raw, high-energy sound that blends elements of trap, rage and experimental hip-hop, he’s built a cult following through platforms like SoundCloud and TikTok.

In January, he released his long-awaited debut album Xavier which has been hailed as xaviersobased's most accomplished project to date, earning the coveted Best New Music (8.3) distinction from Pitchfork, with them noting "... the debut LP is a cult rap record with big ambition. Cool, chaotic, and hyper-curious, Xav blows up his sound without losing his style".

This LP arrived alongside the release of The FADER's latest documentary, "Keep it Going", which focuses on Xavier's life leading up to and while on his 2025 The Riverside Tour. Directed by Alex Hodor-Lee, this is the first FADER documentary release since 2020, as Xavier follows the legendary lineage of past FADER doc alumni Mac Miller, Lucki, Metro Boomin, and many more. Alongside this documentary, Xavier was named The FADER's newest cover star, with photos shot by the iconic hip-hop photographer Jonathan Mannion

His self-titled LP and major label debut Xavier is the culmination of the musical experimentations that define xaviersobased’s 10 prior mixtapes, including recent critic & cult favorites Keep it goin xav (#1 Best Hip-Hop Album of 2024 via Pitchfork) and with 2 (hosted by d9lton). His most mature, concise, and assured offering to date - this LP is a musical coming of age that fits equally within New York’s storied rap lineage as it does within the canon of ever evolving internet native micro-genres.

In March, xaviersobased returned on the road for the The Riverside Tour 2.0 with support from fellow 1-c members ksuuvi and Backend. Xavier arrives after a record 2025, a year which saw Xavier surpass one million monthly listeners, release lauded singles like "Walk To Me", "Double Whammy" and Once More EP (Pitchfork 8.0), sell-out a national tour, and collaborate across the underground with artists like Nettspend ("Impact"), Osamason ("uncomfy"), and Che (“MANNEQUIN”) in addition to opening for Yung Lean and Bladee.
